Kindergaten

Kindergaten is an area composed of four rooms that integrate children from 12 months to 2 years and is divided as follows:
Two one-year rooms accommodating 13 children between 12/24 months. They are transition rooms where children prepare for a series of new acquisitions. Two two-year rooms with capacity for 14 children between 24/36 months.

In kindergaten rooms children share their own meal place and there is a hygiene zone for each room.
The three kindergaten rooms communicate with each other and are equipped with materials suitable for this group of children. This area also has an exclusive outdoor space.
Each room group has a pedagogical team composed of an educator and an assistant, and the teams in the one-year classrooms are composed of a teacher, a permanent assistant and a shared assistant between the two rooms.

The kindergaten team has a special focus on the organization of the educational environment, fundamental for the good management of the safety routines, for the development of the autonomy and for the global and harmonious development of the child.
In addition to the regular activity, kindergaten also offers other differentiating activities that are provided by the professionals who are part of the Languages of Art project.
Communication and daily sharing with families, as well as building bonds and relationships with children, are some of the fundamental objectives of kindergaten teams at APIA.
