Social Board

APIA - Association for the Protection of Childhood of Ajuda - is an IPSS (private institution of social solidarity) and its action is intended to help Ajuda’s population and neighboring areas (Article 4 of the Statutes).

It is composed of a set of organs and is governed by a set of rules that allow its functioning.

MANAGEMENT BOARD

General Assembly
It is the supreme body of the association, in which its autonomy vis-à-vis third parties and its sovereignty over its members resides, its board is elected at a general meeting for a period of four years.

Fiscal Council
The fiscal council supervises the administrative activity of the Association, ensures compliance with the statutes and gives an opinion on the reports and accounts or any other matter presented by the management.

Board of Directors
The board of directors is the executive organ of the association and is composed of five members - president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and the vowel -, is elected for a period of four years and meets fortnightly.
